While everyone has received a wrong fast food order at some point, a study found that a popular restaurant is more wrong than others.
Intouch Insight, a company that is known to track the speed and accuracy of a drive-through restaurant, recently released its 2024 findings stating that fast food restaurants are the fastest to hand over the order and which are the most accurate.
Chik-Fil-A finished number one with an accuracy rating of 92 percent. Burger King and McDonald’s were tied for the second largest accuracy rating at 88 percent. At the bottom of the list, KFC was, with the lowest rating of only 81 percent.
However, KFC recorded the best accuracy score since 2024. At the bottom of the list, although slightly higher than KFC, there were Taco Bell, Wendy and Dunkin.
Despite the low accuracy rating of the chicken chain, KFC had some redeeming properties such as its low waiting time. According to the report, KFC took an average of just one car in the line before being able to place an order, while the Chik-Fil-A drive-through line had an average of five cars. As a result, about eight minutes of waiting.
Taco Bell had the lowest waiting time with customers receiving their order and then in 4.3 minutes.
