This was the first time Francis appeared publicly as he addressed the crowd when he was discharged from the hospital on 23 March. The Pope had a double pneumonia match that admitted him to the hospital for five weeks.

Francis made an undeclared journey near the end of the month and performed a brief greetings while receiving oxygen through his nose.

The Vatican also released a written message from Francis marking on Sunday’s month, which was particularly focused on healthcare workers.

“I ask the Lord that this touch of his love can reach all those who suffer and encourage those who are taking care of them,” the text said.

Doctors, who took care of Francis’ care during their stay at Jamelli Hospital in Rome, say he abbreviated to abolish the Pope’s treatment due to his condition.

Medical Director Dr. Sergio Alfiary resumed the scenes on 28 February, when the 88-year-old faced a cough fit and breathing vomiting, motivating the employees to clean their airways and later put into a non-invasive mechanical ventilation mask to help breathe.
