Pennsylvania State Police is looking for a arson, which “damaged the official residence in Harrisburg, Josh Shapiro”.
In a statement posted on social media, Shapiro wrote that his family woke up at 2 pm on Sunday, by blasting the state police at the door. He said that he and his wife, Lori, were “always grateful” to the officers who helped to vacate the family.
“Thank God that no one was injured and the fire was extinguished,” Shapiro wrote. “Every day, we stand with law enforcement and the first respondents who run to danger to protect our communities.”
The couple have four children, Sophia, Jona, Max and Reuben. Sophia and Jona are legal adults while Max and Ruben are minors.
It is not clear whether any of the adult children of Shapiro was home.
Shapiro offered the Passover Well Relaxation a few hours before the attack on the residence. The governor, who is Jew, shared a picture of his cadre table on social media.
“From the cadre table of the Shapiro family to your, Happy Passover and Chaig Pesch Samch!” He wrote X on Sunday evening.
The state police described the investigation into the incident as a multilateral investigation and is giving a reward of $ 10,000 for information.
The department said, “While investigation is on, the state police is ready to say that it was an act of arson.”
Shapiro is a Democrat, who was selected to lead Pennsylvania in 2022 after serving as Attorney General of the state for many years. He was allegedly one of the prominent candidates considered for a Vice -President run with Kamla Harris in the last year’s presidential race.
Harris eventually selected Minnesota village Tim Walz to share 2024 tickets with him.
But Shapiro is a relatively popular governor with a favorable approval rating. Philadelphia Inquareer reported in September that according to its survey of potential voters in the state, 59% “strongly approved” or “somewhat approval”.
Voting revealed that he had a strong rating compared to the pop sensation Taylor Swift, a native of Pennsylvania, who received a 46% approval score compared to.
