John P. Kotter graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1968 with Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Science in Management in 1970. Kotter then completed his doctor of business administration at Harvard Business School in 1972 and was immediately appointed in his faculty.
