Earlier this year, it was discovered that a new pebble clock was in development. The news has become even better now: A new clock tomorrow, March 18 can be announced.
In January, Google released the source code for Pablos. At that time, the “Rape” project promised that the new hardware would eventually be introduced. Even more exciting, the project is supported by the founder of pebbles, Eric Migicowski.
According to an email sent to all those who sign up for updates on the “Rapbal” project, a big announcement may come tomorrow. Email states, “Time to get excited.” For interesting people, you can go to the “Rapbal” store, where an upside counting watch is overlade on a drawing of the original pebble.
According to that watch, the announcement may come on EDT on Tuesday afternoon.
The original pebble clock was born in 2012 from a successful kickstarter campaign. The smartphone was designed to display notifications, pebble watches offered a series of downloadable apps. Notable features included an e-paper display, which provided excellent battery life that could live for several days, as well as resistance to water.
While later Smartwatch introduced more advanced features, such as color displays and heart-monitoring, Pebble followed a loyalty due to its simple design and user friendly interface. However, by 2016, the Pebble Technology Corporation was acquired by Fitbit, which ended the Pable Watch Production. Fitbit was later purchased by Google.
Retro styles are undoubtedly back, and it will be complicated to see what the pebble has now developed under Google. I am eager to see a new pebble smartwatch that includes all the characteristics found in fitbit clocks and Google Pixel 3.
