Pakistan’s growing boxing Pratibha Usman Wazir showed his dominance in the ring by dominating India’s ascension with a technical knockout (TKO) in the early stages of the international ranking match held at Bangkok’s World Siam Stadium on Thursday.
The high anticipated match between Pakistan and India due to the historic game rivalry marked Wazir’s 16th professional battle.
The 23-year-old made his undefeated records 16–0, in which the fight finished just one minute and 41 seconds in the early stages.
With the ringing ring, Wazir did not waste any time, the first attack that determined the speed of the fight. Avaran replied with aggression, and the boxing quickly turned into an explosive exchange.
However, Wazir displayed better technology and composition, with a series of powerful blasts, which knocked Eswaran twice before stepping to the referee to stop the competition.
“Asian Boy” was dubbed, Wazir has already created waves in the boxing world, who have won the prestigious titles including the first world youth title, Asian title and Middle East title.
His achievements have not only given global recognition, but have also taken great pride for Pakistan and its original region Gilgit-Baltistan.
After his loud victory, Wazir expressed his gratitude and gave a powerful message of unity.
He said, “Alhamdulillah for this victory. I am grateful to the highland boxing promotion, my sponsors and his support for the Sindh government,” he said.
He also addressed the growing social media discussion around the match, urging fans on both sides of Seema to embrace peace.
He said, “I saw the post of compared to the India-Pakistan war. I honestly request both nations-we want peace. Let the game bring us together, do not divide us,” they concluded.
