Dubai: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) saw an increase of 28% during the ongoing financial year in Pakistan’s exports, reaching $ 1.2 billion between July 2024 and February 2025.
The announcement was made in Dubai by Pakistan’s Commercial and Trade Consultant Ali Zib, while addressing a Suhur Sabha organized by Pakistan Consulate and Pakistan Trade Council.
The ZAIB stated that this significant growth reflects Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen trade relations with the United Arab Emirates, with export versions that the previous year figures were crossed by a remarkable margin.
The Suhur Sabha held in Pakistan Association Dubai aimed to invite foreign diplomats and business councils registered with Dubai Chamber of Commerce to participate in the upcoming Pakistan trade show. The event demanded showing Pakistan’s trade capability and attracting investment from international businesses.
Hussain Mohammed, Pakistan’s General Management in Dubai, assured foreign representatives of full cooperation for investors interested in searching opportunities in Pakistan.
He emphasized the government’s commitment to facilitate commercial participation and promote economic cooperation.
Shabbir businessman, president of the Pakistan Business Council in Dubai, announced that a delegation of Dubai’s foreign investors would participate in the mega trade show to be held in Lahore.
He said that the event will provide an ideal platform to discover investment opportunities in various sectors of Pakistan’s economy.
The fourth edition of Health, Engineering and Minerals (HeM) Show 2025 will be held in Lahore from 17 April to 19, 2025.
The event will focus on showing Pakistan’s abilities in these major areas, providing a platform to connect and cooperate domestic and international businesses.
