Dubai: Famous Pakistani artist Imran Qureshi, who is celebrated for his innovative and culturally rich art, has brought his latest works to Dubai to a special single exhibition.
Qureshi, the recipient of Pakistan’s prestigious Sitara-e-Imtiaz, is known for a combination of traditional techniques with modern narratives.
The exhibition has several art forms, including short paintings, stunning photographic displays and a digital art video for traditional Sufi music, providing visitors to visitors.

A standout attraction is a wide colorful “charpoy” designed by the team of Qureshi’s team (traditional knitted bed). It is a symbol of fusion of piece, heritage and contemporary creativity, becoming the main attraction of the exhibition, which equally admire visitors and Emirati guests.

Curator Nida Raza appreciated Imran Qureshi’s ability to weave political and cultural subjects in his work, described the “Charpoy” establishment as a notable festival of Pakistani traditions.

Visitors have expressed their fear over the diversity of artwork. While Pakistanis found the exhibition an indifferent visit in their legacy, the international audience discovered the depth of Pakistan’s cultural prosperity.
The exhibition, which has received widespread praise, will remain open to the public by 18 April.
