After weeks of teasing, OnePlus has revealed its compact phone – OnePlus 13T – in China. The 13t is the reaction to the emerging focus brands of Onaplus, with the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge and the iPhone 17 Air on thin and light phones. Despite its teenage creation, OnePlus 13t packed in a lot of power, including an incredible Snapdragon 8 elite, an emergent high-resolution display, and a large battery contrary to other phones of its size.
The largest highlight is a compact design, which opposes the general tendency between the hands -out phones. Its accounting for its compactness, OnePlus 13T has a 6.32-inch AMOLED display-compared to the 6.9-inch used on OnePlus 13. Even with small size, the display maintains its crispness, up to 1.5K resolution and adaptive refresh rate 120Hz. The display supports the Dolby Vision and attains the extreme brightness of 2,400 notes.
In more than one way, the design looks inspired by the iPhone 16, especially with the adoption of a button and a frame similar to the action button of the iPhone with OnePlus – at least, visually, visually – titanium. The button may be customized for replacing the audio profile or some operation with the camera.
Small builds also allow OnePlus 13T to be lighter, weighing 185 grams. It is still much heavier than the Galaxy S25, which is more than 20G lighters, or even the 15G lighter iPhone 16. Tiny Build also allows only one hand use, as the Ekplas representative displayed during the declaration.
There are three colors: one light pink, a silver and a dark brown. Each of these has a matte finish behind the glass. OnePlus is also launching several cases to cover plain design.

While the previous OnePlus phone with the suffix “T” has been decreased in terms of performance compared to the primary number chain phone. However, OnePlus 13T stated that OnePlus 13 with the same internal specifications. At the forefront, there is a Snapdragon 8 elite chipset and 16 GB RAM that reduces the performance. The phone also gets the same multi-layer vapor cooling system as a large flagship model for effective cooling during intensive functions like gaming. Additionally, OnePlus provides 1TB onboard storage with compact phone.
To back up solid performance, OnePlus is offering a 6,260mAh battery, which is equal to large phones. The battery pack can be placed quickly up with 80W supercoke fast charging. The phone also supports wireless charging and can be charged up to 27W using OnePlus’ Circular Magnetic Charging Puck.
Due to the limited space, OnePlus is cutting back on cameras just like Samsung. OnePlus 13t OnePlus 13, ie, comes with a lower camera than two instead of three. Interestingly, the back camera island appears inspired by the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro, whose dummy has recently given a better design of design. The rear setup includes a 50MP telephoto unit with a 50MP telephoto unit with a 50MP primary snapper with optical zoom. Primary sensors also get OIS support, but there is no hasselblad support for the special color science characteristic of the camera manufacturer.
In China, OnePlus 13t runs Kalros 15 of Oppo. However, if the phone is launched globally, we expect to run oxygen instead. Apart from field-specific tuning, there are many visual differences between two interfaces.
OnePlus has revealed the price of launch for China, where OnePlus 13T 12GB + 256GB starts at CNY 3,399 (~ 470) and goes to CNY 4,499 (~ 470) for 16GB + 1TB variants. If the phone is launched in other markets, these prices will not translate directly to other currencies. Even more importantly, President Donald Trump’s tariffs on China can significantly increase prices in America, which can motivate OnePlus to fully launch in North America. We expect to learn more details in the coming weeks.
