One person was killed and two police officers were seriously injured that Emmanuel Macron called an “Islamist terrorist attack” in East France.
The suspects, who had said that a terrorist prevention was on the Wochelist, was arrested in the city of Mulhouse near Swiss and German borders, after a knife attack, according to local media.
Three more police officers and a parking attendant were lightly injured in the attack. The French President said that he “had no doubt” attack was related to terror.
According to the local prosecutor, a demonstration about the conflict in the Congo Democratic Republic took place in the middle of a market.
Born in Algeria, the suspect allegedly shouted “Allahu Akbar” while stabbing, but Perisian.
A victim allegedly died after being suffering from several knives.
