An off-duty policeman was charged and jailed in New Jersey, when she allegedly broke into a residence and attacked two victims last week.
According to the office of Ocean County Prosecutor, 32 -year -old Rebecca Saig was accused of two cases of attack and attack at home. He was also booked with two cases of criminal mischief along with opposing terrorist threats and arrests.

The prosecution office said, “Answering officials found that a person, who was later identified as Syag-had broken the glass door in front of the off-duty Toms River Township Police Officer-Ne Niwas, entered the residence, and then attacked and threatened two victims inside the residence.”

The 32 -year -old also damaged the hood of a vehicle belonging to one of the victims, which was then parked in the driveway.
The statement said, “Sygh was taken into custody at the scene – after opposing the efforts of arrest peacefully, the statement said.
“He was originally served in the Ocean County Superior Court with allegations through summons for the upcoming first attendance,” the prosecutor’s office said. “Due to the serious nature of the allegations, however, Say was re -charged through a warrant on April 28, 2025.”
Saig was then taken to the Ocean County Jail, where he is currently pending a hearing in a custody.

The prosecutor’s office concluded, “The prosecutor Bilhimer appreciated the Berkeley Township Police Department for his efforts in connection with this investigation.”
According to the Toms River Police Department, in 2021, Sayg was given a Class B award for his brave efforts during a house fire.
