NJ/NY Gotham FC has acquired Gase on a loan from Manchester United, when Brazil was left with a “pain and lonely spirit” due to being in United, a few weeks after being posted on his Instagram.
Geyse’s loan will run through the 2025 NWSL season and involves an option to make this step permanent.
“I am very happy and excited to join Gotham FC for this season,” Gase said in a statement. “I chose Gotham FC because he has a winner profile and is very ambition to win the title. I can’t wait to wear this jersey and enjoy the ground with my new colleagues.”
Sources told ESPN that Man United tried to give further loans to the 26 -year -old NWSL clubs, when Gase Gase was away to attend his brother’s funeral.
Sources in ESPN said that she was happy to leave United after breaking up in her relationship with manager Mark Skinner and preferred a step for Gotham as she played under Jonatan Girlaldez while living in Barcelona.
“Staying in a place where we do not feel happy, there is a yearning and lonely feeling,” Gase has written in a emotional message on Instagram. “Every day feels heavy, and the simple fact of being there becomes a burden.”
Gasese joined United in 2023 for a club-riddled fee from Barka where he won the UEFA Champions League title that year. He performed 27 total for United, two goals and four assistance. She last played for the club on 2 March when she posted her statement online.
United has recently lost a waves of players in transfer windows, including a migration of 21 players in 2023. Eleven players were released into the previous summer transfer window.
Gase has eight goals in 56 demonstrations for Brazil, and made a roster for the 2019 World Cup and 2021 Olympics. He also helped Brazil win 2022 copa Amrika Feminina. He joined Brazilian partner Bruniha and Gabi Portalho in Gotham.
“Gase is a dynamic player who brings valuable experience at both clubs and international levels,” said Gotham FC General Manager and head of football operations Yale Everbuch West.

The NWSL transfer window closes at midnight ET.
