Indian cricketer Shubman Gill and former player Gautam Gambhir, Indian cricket team coach, Parthiv Patel and Gautam Gambhir condemned the terrorist attack in Kashmir Pahgam On Tuesday.
In the attack, terrorists set fire to a meadow near Pahalgam on Tuesday afternoon, killing 26 people, mostly tourists, which is the most deadly attack in the valley since the Pulwama strike in 2019.

In a social media post, Parthiv Patel, assistant coach of former India keeper and IPL franchise, Lucknow Super Giant, wrote, “What has happened in Kashmir today, shocked and angry. While those responsibilities will be punished, and I am sure that they are a numb to all people right now.”
Gambhir, Gambhir, former BJP MP and now Indian men’s cricket team coach Gambhir wrote, “Praying for the families of the deceased. People responsible for this will pay. India will strike. #Pahalgam”
Gujarat’s Titans captain Shubman Gill wrote, “Heartbreaking to hear about the attack in Pahgam. My prayers are with the victims and their families. Such violence is no place in our country.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, arrived in Srinagar late on Tuesday night and was given a brief description of the incident by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in the presence of LG, DGP and other senior officials.
The Home Minister then went to Raj Bhavan to preside over a high-level security meeting. He will also meet tourists and locals injured in the hospital in Srinagar, where they are being treated, and will visit the terrorist attack on Wednesday.
In Pahgam, locals marched with a candle light against the cowardly terrorist attack on tourists.
