The USDA and HHS have since announced that they are reviewing the “line-by-line” of the 2025 diet guidelines for Americans issued by the Biden administration last year.

In a joint press release, agencies announced that they would release the 2025-2030 report before the year limit of the year.

Rollins stated that the guidelines of 2025-2030 “would be based on sound science, not political science,” adding, “are the days where leftist ideologies guide public policy,” according to the release.
Secretary Kennedy said that updating the guidelines “is a huge step in making America a healthy country of the world.”
“We are going to ensure that diet guidelines will reflect public interest and serve public health instead of special interests,” Kennedy said.

While specific changes in the guidelines have not yet been released, the existing report of the biden administration includes oil listed as part of a healthy diet pattern, stating that they provide “essential fatty acids”.
The report said, “Generally consumed oils include canola, corn, olives, peanuts, kusadand, soybean and sunflower oils.”

In the great movement, supporters have been vocal about the use of seed oil in food and instead promoted the use of natural lions such as beef tongs.
The existing report advises Americans to get away from “saturated fat in fat high” such as butter, Lords and oils.

Out of Monday’s meeting, Kennedy announced that HHS will eliminate the GRAS (usually as safe as safe) used by component manufacturers and sponsors, which allows new ingredients and chemicals to be present in American food supply without proper notification to FDA or public.
