The Texas Department of State Health and Services (DSHS) is monitoring a growing measles outbreak that has almost doubled in the last two weeks.
When the first time reported at Gens County was reported, the authorities warned that there would be additional cases.
Alert said, “Due to the highly infectious nature of the disease, there is a possibility of additional cases in Gains county and surrounding communities.”

Measles outbreak continues in this American state
The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) is testing residents and confirmed three cases last week, causing them to eight.
Cases fulfill the outbreak criteria centers of disease control and prevention due to three unrelated cases in Lee County, on the border of the Ganes County.
Although the outbreak of New Mexico is close to closeness, a connection remains unconfirmed.
“We are investigating every suspicious case, and we encourage sick individuals with measles to seek medical care,” Dr. Chad Smelsar, NMDOH Deputy State Epidemiologist said.

Like many other cases, six in infected eight were not vaccinated. There are four adults and four minors. Two adults say they believe they were vaccinated as children.
NMDOH has potentially informed individuals and providing prevention guidance. He has issued a statement containing a list of places warning people that they can be exposed if they visit during the specified time.
