Memphis Grizzleez fired head coach Taylor Jenkins despite being number 5 seeds at the Western Conference on Friday. Grizzle’s shocking decision to participate with Jenkins comes with only nine regular-season games before the NBA playoffs start.
In a statement posted on social media, Zach Kleiman, president of basketball operations and general manager of basketball operation Zach Kleiman said, “I really appreciate the contribution of Taylor in this team and the city in the last six sessions.”

“It was a difficult decision, given the consistent and tangible development of our players and the overall success under the leadership of Taylor. I want Taylor to move best.”
Grizzles are 44โ29 and, while they have the same record as Los Angeles, but have caught the head-to-head tiebreaker. Along with the tiebreaker, Lake is fourth in the standing above the grizzleez.
The decision to set Jenkins on fire falls on the heels of the 125โ104 damage in the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Western Conference.

Grizzleez is 5โ5 in its last ten matches, as they will continue the jockey for playoff positioning with Los, Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwells. Clips and Warriors are 41โ31 while Timberwells are 41-32.
40-year-old Jenkins was hired in 2019 and was 250โ214 in his grizzle tenure. Jenkins’ 250 wins franchise is the highest coaching win in history.
In the last season, the team struggled, moving beyond 27-55, Star Point Guard J Mornt played in nine matches only due to injury and suspension.

With the return of Mornt to Guna, Grizlies improved this season and will create a playoffs, leaving a disastrous final nine game.
As at the time of this writing, an interim head coach was not yet named.
Grizzle’s next game is at home against Lakrs at 8:00 pm on Saturday, where they will take the floor for a important game with a separate coach.
