Muslims from all over the world are celebrating Eid ul Fitr on today (Sunday) with a large congregation prayer organized in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and other countries.
In addition to the two countries, Eid ul Fitr is being observed on Saturday in Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Turkia, Iran, Sudan, Lebanon, Yemen and Palestine after Shawwal Moon.
Muslims celebrate Eid ul Fitr as the completion of the fasting month of Ramadan in the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. According to the Muslim lunar calendar, the time of Eid ul Fitr is determined by the philosophy of the semi chandrakara.
Meanwhile, people following the Islamic calendar in the United States and Canada are still celebrating Eid ul Fitr, while Eid will be announced after seeing mosques after the moon.
Pakistani Bohra community is celebrating Eid today

Officials in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei and Australia confirmed the date based on astronomical data and local Moon’s efforts.
In Bangladesh, the National Moon visiting Committee said that the Ardhachandara Moon was not seen, causing the 30th day of Ramadan on Sunday.
Indonesia also announced on Monday as the first day of Eid after failing to inspect Shawl Crescent.
Iraq will also celebrate Eid on Monday, however, Eid ul Fitr prayers were conducted by various groups across the country on Sunday (today).
India, where today is ranked 28th of Ramadan, hopes that the Moon will appear on Sunday, which will celebrate Eid on Monday.
The International Astronomy Center of Malaysia (IAC) confirmed that Crescent would be visible to the naked eyes on Sunday, Eid would be kept on 31 March.
Brunei followed the suit, also confirmed with IAC that the moon would appear there on Sunday.
The Australian Fatwa Council also declared Eid al-Fitr on 31 March, given that Shawwal Moon will be born on Saturday after sunset in both eastern and western parts of the country.
