The 2025 MLS season is now running strongly, which means that it is time for ESPN’s power ranking.
Who is to climb the table? Who is in the free fall? Our authors studied action from Match 2 to come up with all 30 teams in the league with this week’s order. Let’s dive.

Any lionel Messi, no problem. With Argentina being absent from Miami’s test on the road, Herons won 4–1 against Houston. Luis Suarez was a star who achieved a goal and three assistance. 21 -year -old Venezuela midfielder Telasko Segovia scored a brace, which made her season three. Fellow new joint Tedo Olende scored a grand goal that he helped to install. They have got talent and depth to do big things.

Phili’s frontline is working. The Sangh defeated FC Cincinnati 4–1 on Saturday to scored four goals in its second straight game. Israeli striker Tai Bribo created a hat trick and is leading the Golden Boot Race with five goals. Club-Club-Cord signed Bruno Demiani and scored in its beginning. They have received a lot to pan, but this is a strong initial statement from the Sangh.

It sometimes went on an 86th-minute strike from reliable Ryan Holeshad for LAFC, defeating NYCFC 1-0. This is their second straight 1-0 win, and when they were not highly impressive, it would be for now because they discover their next level.

Vancouver has two impressive win to start the season by defeating last year’s champion, The La Galaxy, 2–1 on Sunday. Left-back Sam Edekugbe scoring in several games with his second goal in the second minute, and New Jersey-born striker Brian White sealed all three points in the 87th minute.

Twenty-year-old Canada Striker (and MLS Next Pro Star) Jacon Russell-Rowway scored a 1-0 win in the New England Revolution to win the game for Columbus. The two wins of the crew have not been against the most difficult opposition, but a win is a win as Columbus is an infection with a lot of changes in a new year.

Bruce is closed for a strong start with the Arena Quake. San Jose defeated Canasus City 2–1 despite going down to 10 men in the second half. The newly signed striker Joseph Martinez scored a decisive goal, marking his 117th all-time level with Bradley Right-Filips with Bradley Right-Filips in MLS history. This is the early day, but as one of the five teams to win both of their games so far this season, they are worth their early perch towards the top of the ranking.

Charlotte’s newly signed DP Wilfred Zaha defeated Atlanta 2–0 by Charlotte in his MLS debut. Saturday’s victory was greatly improved by his inaugural draw against Seattle, in which Zaha’s introduction had a large -scale impact. Cherlotte fans should have high expectations this year.

We are in the topsse-talvi part of the season, as far as the power ranking runs. FCC was entitled to their first place leaflets after the match 1, but after losing Phili 4–1 on Saturday, they took a dip for the week two. They still have found goods to do magic in this season. Fans should not fret yet.

Lones defeated Montreal 1–0 with a 24-year-old striker Calvin Yeobah with a goal, who recorded 12 goals in 12 demonstrations in the previous season, assuming his first win of 2025. He dropped Montreal out 6–0 on the target and could get more than this, but he was entitled to victory.

Emil Formsberg won 2–0 against Nashville with a spectacular strike from outside the box in the 30th minute. This is the type of magic from his star sweda that can remove red bulls this year.

Orlando won 4–2 against Toronto in the week 2 and recovered Phili from 4–2 in its first week. The heavy cavets are surprising, but with six goals of five players in their first two matches, Lions have shown that they are a team that can score. (One of the biggest warnings? He has also given permission against six goals.)

After scoring a brace in his MLS debut last week, the MLS-Cord could not put magic to lose 2–0 on the road against Charlotte, who signed Emmanuel Latte Lath. Five stripes will go home next week to overcome the red bulls.

Possibly in the weekend’s most entertaining game, Dallas returned Colorado 2–0 on the road, then returned with three beautiful balls before allowing a single. They moved with 3-3 draws marking another strong road performance to start the year. Petar Moses and Luciano Acosta showed their skills and combined well. There is a reason to hope for Dallas.

Seattle admitted RSL to a bit of a gift by accepting his own goal in the eighth minute, but the hosts did good to catch the sounders and produce some quality opportunities as they went with a 2–0 victory.

STL has two points from two games after collecting another 0–0 draw, this time against San Diego. He produced very little in this one (taking only two shots against the 17 against Colorado) but this is a solid start for their third year in the league. He has not scored this season yet, but he has not accepted either.

Five services of Matt Fraz were not enough to achieve a point against LAFC, after Ryan Hallinghead lost 1-0 in the 86th minute. Two games on the road against Miami and LAFC are a difficult way for a team to start the year with a lot of questions. He has shown his ability, but allowed late goals to reduce some digits in both sports.

Rapids took a 2–0 lead at home, making Rafael Navaro scored three consecutive goals from Dallas before saving a point with his second goal of the game. The 3-3 draws of Colorado with FCD were high-value entertainment, but they are a little bit everywhere to start the year.

Portland’s new number 10 David da Costa scored a game against Austin in the 89th minute. They left it late, but da Costa’s Elite Free Kick is the type of effect you like to see from a new DP.

Austin’s fans will be disappointed at getting nothing from Portland losing 1–0. He had some quality opportunities, but four rescues of James Pentamis scorched him and a moment of talent to David da Costa gave him a defeat.

2024 MLS Cup Champs are missing key players for injury (Joseph Pntsil, Ricky Puig), but a second straightforward loss-this time a 2–0 loss for a respectable Vancouver side is a unstable beginning.

Seattle started with a goal in eight minutes and was inauspicious from there. He had some big opportunities and fired several shots in the form of RSL, but left Utah with a 2–0 defeat. There is a lot of time to find their feet, but things are not yet clicking for sounders.

He fired 10 shots (including two on the target) in a 2–0 defeat to Red Bulls. Nashville needs to improve the quality of those opportunities before scoring a goal this season.

San Diego excluded St. Louis City from 0–0 in a draw from 15–2, but was only one of them on a target. With four points of two matches, league debutants may be happy with shared robbery as they work on their accuracy for next week. For fans to fancifiest something, however: Mexican DP Herring “Chaki” Lozano left the pitch with an injury in the first half.

Greg was barlter it Close to win his first win as a manager of Chicago, but Jacob Murrail’s 96th-minute bicycle kick ended his struggle with DC United 2–2. Fortunately for USMNT boss, Brian Gutirez will return next week.

There is nothing like a 96th minute bicycle kick to steal a point on the road. Twenty-year-old Jacob Muralil’s target-value-worthy Wonder draws another 2–2 for United, this time against the fire. In two weeks, and DC has two points from two games, but one has a lot left.

The five saves of Jonathan Sirois were not enough to lose 1–0, as Montreal had captured 65%, but failed to put a single shot on the target.

Raves hung for a point against Austin at Match 1, but the match 2 was reduced to another 1–0 defeat. It is not a beautiful game, but has shown some ability to hang so far.

Toronto has some capacity and 2–2 draws were solid in one, but after losing 4–2 to their opener, Reds has now allowed six goals in two matches. It is tied with three other clubs (including Orlando) for the most in the league.

SKC lost 2–1 to San Jose despite going under 10 men for most of the second half. He has now won his first two tests of ’25. Silver Lining: New Sign Dedion Joveljik (who scored 15 goals for La Galaxy last season) scored his first goal of the year from a penalty spot.

Defensive discontinuation continues for dynamo, and turning on the ball in the sixth minute is a difficult way that Antra Miami turned to its first target 4–1. Dynamo is only one of the four teams to collect a point in this season.
