Crew-10 Team comes to ISS
Crew -10 team, including NASA’s astronaut Anne McClen and Nicole Aires, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s Takua Onishi, and Rososmos Cosmonot Kiril Peskov, who have been trapped in ISS since last June.
Crew -10 team will spend for ISS for the next several days and will handle the responsibilities of Williams and Wilmor. Both astronauts expected to return to Earth after a brief stay, but remained in the orbit for about nine months due to technical delays with their returns capsules.
Extended migration at space station
Williams and Wilmore originally launched Boeing’s Starlineer Capsule, which faced several issues during their first flight, stucking astronauts for longer than expected. When his replacement capsules were widely batteries repaired, his return was pushed back to several weeks.
Crew -10 is the beginning of the final stage of the extended mission for Williams and Wilmore from the arrival of the team, which is about to return to Earth in SpaceX capsules later this week.
