The police said during the press conference that Andrea’s father went on several visits to Mexico for years to find his daughter.

Andrea’s father and stepmother thanked the Law Enforcement and the National Center for Missing and Exloid Children (NCMEC). Her stepmother also said that DNA technology helped law enforcement to develop a leadership that eventually took her to Andrea, who currently lives in Mexico.
