Melinda French Gates talked about getting into a toxic relationship, which left a permanent impact on her psyche in college. In a new interview, Bill Gates’s ex -wife admitted that it was not a positive relationship for her and it took several years to fulfill the impact of her college romance.
Melinda said that her lover who had found at Duke University made a lot of comments on her looks, which influenced her body image and confidence, so much that she felt its influence in her twenty -seventh condition and thirty -thirty.
“(This) was not really a positive relationship for me,” she said on Monday in the episode of Jamie Kern Lima Show.
“He cared a lot about how I saw and said a lot of things about me, and it’s not really right. It’s not really.”
By the time Gates got out of the relationship, he said, “He had already” encouraged many of those messages. “
“I would say that in my 20s with me and even in my 30s,” she said. “And it was not, perhaps, until I reached 40, I got more cured with who I was.”

At the age of 60, Gates is clear about its fitness goals.
“I want to be fit because I want to be able to do everything I want,” he said. “I want to be healthy, but I am not so focused, you know, I am weight or y weight or I am fit into that size pants or someone else?”
However, he admitted that the issue of his body image “still is a bit behind my head, but it’s not a big call yet.” Gates said that he extended the issues of his body’s image “many different nutritional experts” and a physician to better understand the ‘anxiety’ around his body.
He said that when you free yourself from the feeling of “weight and the body’s image” from the feeling of “fullism”, you have a lot of mind and peace.
His body was more inspired to work on the image issues, that too was the good of his daughters-Jenifer, 28, and Fobe, 22. Dotting mother wanted to teach him the importance of self-love.
“I also found at a point where I realized that I was playing a role for my daughters,” she said. “It was really important that I work on myself, so I did not do any of them and so when they had body issues, they could come to me and I could be honest with them.”

Gates said that his work also helped to cure his relationship with his body.
“Data shows that if women are working and doing meaningful work, they focus less on the body image,” she shared, “who, again, is how beautiful it is to be able to keep that energy and that time in those things that you care about doing for the world?”

After graduation, Melinda started working and soon met her ex -husband Bill Gates, in 1987 at a Microsoft Sales meeting. Melinda joined Microsoft as a product manager, while Bill was the CEO at that time. The couple got married in 1994.
He participated in 2021 after 27 years of marriage in 2021 and a recent interview by Microsoft co-founder and described it as the ‘greatest regret’ of his life. However, Melinda realized that partition was necessary.
The next day, in its upcoming memoir, Melinda has spoken in detail about her decision to separate with Bill Gates and navigate through other important transitions in her life.
