Max Shezer’s Toronto Blue Jais debut was finished earlier than many possibilities.
The three -time Sai Young Award winner threw 45 pitches, before a clear thumb injury forced him to get out of the game after just three innings.
Blue Jais later said that the scherzer was working with the right late agony.

The eight-time MLB All-Star Toronto appeared disappointed in Dugout, possibly when he learned that he would not take the mound to start the fourth innings.
After the game, the scherzer shared his belief that the right lat problem belonged to their ongoing thumb issue. On Wednesday, Jais manager John Schneider told reporters that “was still going in the right direction.”

The scherzer has dealt with some discomfort in its thumb since spring training. On Saturday, he suggested that the sexing issue forced his body to overcamp.

He indicated that taking the third innings in the game against Baltimore Oriols could have more issues.
“After that third innings, I could only tell that we were in an impending danger,” Shazer said. “If you pitch through it and you keep pitching as hand fatigue, it is going to go.”
The Scherzer also admitted that he did not feel completely comfortable when he threw it in a bulfane before the game of Saturday.
“It’s getting hot today, I could feel that my lat was tight. … Let’s know like this before the game,” Hey, work with me here. Just know that something can happen, “he said.

The scherzer has struggled with several injuries throughout his career.
He picked for Texas Rangers in the last season, but started the year in the injured list, as he recovered from back surgery. In early 2024, he delayed more than a nerve issue. Scherzer made nine starts in the previous season.

The Scherzer gave three hits and a pair of earned runs before exiting Saturday’s game. Blue Jais lost 9-5. The final game of the four-market chain is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at the Rogers Center.
