Indian fashion designer Manish Malhotra has removed the Instagram post of Pakistani actresses Mahira Khan and Hania Aamir, as cultural and digital results continue in view of increasing tension of Pakistan-India after the Pahgam attack.
Meanwhile, Instagram had prohibited access to the accounts of many Pakistani personalities and affected for users in India, following legal requests associated with material regulation.
The affected people included Mahira Khan and Hania Aamir.
The message was shown to Indian users trying to see their profile: “The account is not available in India. The reason is that we have complied with legal request to ban this material.”
The move reflected earlier works by the Indian Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, which blocked many Pakistani YouTube channels, including major news and entertainment outlets.
Amidst Indo-Pak tension after the Pahgam attack on 22 April, India has moved forward rapidly to restrict the cross-limit cultural exchange, blocked Pakistani celebrities on social media and banned digital materials.
This step, widening the struggle in the cultural field, the Modi government of India took unilateral steps to curb the softening of national security concerns, softened engagement.
