The Maine State Legislature voted on its bounged budget on Thursday night, but the session delayed a long -term debate over transgender athlete inclusion and Republican Rape Laurel Libbi’s sensor.
Libbi, who was censored by Main’s Democratic Majority and Speaker Ryan Factue to identify a young trans athlete for social media posts, proposed several amendments in the state budget through a flaw in the state legislative policy.
Libbi presented 10 floor amendments in the budget on Tuesday before the time limit of doing so, which was not stopped by a sensor. Therefore, Libbie was allowed to speak and present those amendments during Thursday session. One of those amendments was not related to the budget, but it was proposed to keep the trans athletes out of the girls’ game.

However, when Libbi talked to present his amendments, many Democrats protested, provoking a debate with Republican representatives.
“During that four -minute presentation process, a floor argument is happening between Republican and Democrats about my sensor … Therefore, there was essentially a second vote about the sensor, confirming the commitment of Democrats to calm down his voice and my vote,” Libi said.

In addition to the proposal of the girls’ game to ban trans athletes, they proposed several budget bills that would have reduced taxes and government expenses. These proposals included a taxation of one tax on solar energy, cancellation of free community college and 1% of the recent parole tax cancellation.
But the amendments of the libbi were also not considered, and the Democrats postponed the amendments indefinitely.

“I was not able to talk to them, to advocate for them and push for profit that they would bring to the main people,” Libbi said.
Finally, the budget passed included no Republican input. The main house approved a plan of $ 11.3 billion by 74-67 votes with party lines. The Senate passed it 18–17, with two Democrats in opposition with Republican.
Libbi was censored on 25 February due to a social media post, which identified a minor by a name with a picture. Libbi’s post reported that a transgender track and field athlete had finished first in a main girls pole vault competition when the athlete competed as a boy a year ago.

“This is a notable double standard because in many places there are public pictures of this person, even on social media and even posted by his school. And, therefore, yes, yes, this post went viral, but it was a person who participated in a public event, who was publicly standing on a podium and accepted a championship medal, which was related to the girls standing in another place,” Libbbes stated before
Libbi filed a lawsuit against Factue and Main House Clerk Robert Hunt, who wants to restore her to vote and speak.
Libbi Main’s House District 90 represents over 9,000 components, and six of them have signed a trial as a plaintiff as the censor has stopped them from doing other legislative tasks to serve those components.
“The speaker’s actions not only disappointed me, but distinguished thousands of components I represent, and this is a big picture here; the fact that the speaker, in his eyes, retaliated against me, because he doesn’t like what I have to say,” Libbie told Fox News Digital first.
