Australia’s next top model Star Lucy Markvic died, 27 years old.
Markovic woke up for fame in the ninth season of the popular reality show as a runner up. After the program, she moved to a successful career in modeling.
His death was announced by his partner, Car, on his Instagram on Friday (April 11).
“Dear friends and family, I regret informing you that Lucy has passed,” said in the statement.
“She was in peace. I, her mother and my mother were present with her. We ask you that please give us place in these difficult times. May Lucy Rest in Peace.”
The model was suffering from a brain aneurysm deformity (AVM), which deteriorated in recent weeks. An AVM is an abnormal confusion of blood vessels that disrupt the relationship between the arteries and the veins.
Last month, Markovic revealed that she was in the hospital after experiencing the recovery and shared that her AVM was now a golf ball size. He was forced to undergo emergency surgery this week before going into a coma.

His partner has asked fans to pray because his situation has deteriorated rapidly, saying: “Lucy is currently struggling for her life, we still need all your prayers.”
Tributes have been paid to the industry.
Fashion legend Donatela Versace wrote: “I am very sorry to be heard, Lucy. Rest in Peace, Beautiful Girl” with a pigeon emoji.

Fellow model Cartia Mallan wrote: “At least the heart was broken to say. My beautiful friend Lucy became sad today after a strong fight.
“I can’t even say how kind, bright and caring for she was. She was as a human being. Not to mention how beautiful and talented she was.”

Markvic’s agency also issued a statement saying: “Lucy was a bright shiny light, and an incredible dry feeling. Her smile and laughter could illuminate a room, and could pull you closer. She preferred to dance, she really shone.
“Modeling was one of Lucy’s dreams, and we are deeply honored with her for being part of that journey. She brought elegance, power and beauty to her work. But more than that, she brought himself her heat, her laughter, her light.”
