I sit very much on my desk. No, this is not correct. I sit on my desk Too muchI sometimes stand, but I am always using my keyboard.
As much as I hate to say this, I type more than the game. It is more important than ever that I get the right equipment for him. As much as I enjoy typing on a good mechanical keyboard, however, my Wrist Do not agree
He took me Logitech k860 ergonomic keyboardThis is the first ergonomic keyboard from Loditech, I think, SometimesThere are some good points for this that are going to a couple of disappointing people for this, all of who are all considering whether you are going to pay a $ 130 retail price tag for it.
Construction
For years and years, I used Microsoft’s ergonomic 4000 keyboard before switching to the mechanical keyboard. I inscribed 8 through 8 orgonomic 4000 between work and playing, just bouncing soda on one of them before hooking on the mechanical keyboard.
4000 is a strong, inexpensive offering, but the plastic membrane keyboard has never felt especially premium. It is a problem with many ergonomic devices. Evoluent’s vertical mouse is certainly more flexible Loditech MX WarticleBut the vertical hand sounds much better.
The same Loditech K860 goes to Ergonomic Keyboard. Although it is still plastic and has a little crack, it feels solid and strong that without the need for an undercarge attachment to stabilize it. The entire device feels a sleekly engineer with a lot of small touch.
Wrap comfort and ergonomics
The built -in wrist comfort is one of my favorite. It contains a surface layer of treated cloth which makes it feel cool for a touch of touch in any way without any kind. The bottom layers of foam that are enough to feel like a pillow without coming in the way.
Because the rest of the keyboard is a part of, I am a little worried about how it will stand to misuse over time. The time when I spent with it, the K860 wrist comfort is held without a problem, but what will it look like a year from now, or two years when I am replacing the battery for the first time (later more on it)?
adjustability
Below the keyboard, there are five rubber -rich legs and two adjustable legs in front of the keyboard that can extend from the front of -4 ° or -7 ° from its 0 ° position. When I stand, I am finished using the 0 ° position and when I stand -7 °.
The premium with good underlying adaptation options feels fully engineer, which I expect from a Loditech product, and I am very happy with what I am offering here.
Keys

There are keys on the Loditech K860 Ergonomic Keyboard where some typist may lose some typist. Logitech went with the same low-profile perfectstroke keys that it uses on the Loditech Craft keyboard.
These keys are technically mechanical that each key uses a separate scissors-style mechanism to accept the major press. But this is not going to do double-duty as a mechanical keyboard, and I am pairing it with one of the mechanical gamepads of the razor as an alternative to keep it two keyboards in my desktop access.
Most mechanical keys are keys, are very rigid and take appropriate amounts of activation. This means that I am not accidentally suppressing the keys, but I am also surprised that a keyboard designed to be ergonomic will ask the user to use the same force as to suppress the keys.
They are perfectly comfortable to type, but it took me a few days under pressure alone, even though the ergonomic split was not an issue for me personally. For my use, they have a good journey and a satisfactory feeling. I know when I have depressed a key and when I haven’t done it. The bounceback seems to be right.
Prime location
Talking about the major placement, this is mostly good, but I take a problem with some options, which has been made Logitech.
The first is the absence of any kind of media key. This is a productivity keyboard, I understand, but for me, music is an important part of my workflow.
I am listening to the boys of the beach in an attempt to make summer because I write it; I find myself continuously disappointed even after dozens of hours with this keyboard, which offers the keyboard. Through F12, F12 double playback and volume keys, and you can lock them on either function or media key using option software or FN lock key.
I do not like to leave my function keys, but the placement of FN key means that I am handling a strange spider on my keyboard to manipulate the media keys because both FN key and media keybaz are on the same side of the keyboard.

The next print is the screen key. The K860 completely removes the break and scroll lock with keys but holds the print screen key.
The print screen key remains just above the backspace key. I use this keyboard with Mac and a PC -two later – and I can’t tell you how many screenshots I have removed from my Mac desktop, mistakenly by punching the print screen key.
Custom keys
It is worth noting that the print screen key can be re -assigned, but I usually refrain from re -handing the keys with printed names/icons.
On that note: Loditech K860 Ergonomic Keyboard also has a custom calculator, app menu and battery life keys.
This can, with F1-F12 functions, can all be removed from their default functions in Logitech’s option application, if you want, but I dislike them on more common custom keys. Pre-crushed symbols means that I have to remember that macro is 1 gloss key, macro 2 is the other glitter key, and after that.
Although I like it. Loditech divided Spacebar into two parts, which makes that important very easy to suppress.
Cross-platform support
Loditech also designed to double the keyboard as a Mac and PC keyboard, and it offers assignments for both of them. With something like Logitech G915, I had to remember which PCs performed keys that perform Mac function. Here, you have dedicated keys.
It is taken to bring a lot of muscle-mery reprogiation to bring down the appropriate key assignments, but instead of using some remopped keys, it is good to have the right keys in their expected places.
features
Argonomics is all that is about this keyboard – but it is not all. Logitech K860 has some standout features in terms of connectivity and software support.
Bluetooth
One of the best characteristics, again, that this keyboard can do double-duty.
My setup has a keyboard connecting my PC through my Lodgetech Uniforming Receiver, which it shares with MX vertical mouse and only takes a single USB port. The keyboard then connects my MacBook through Bluetooth.
There is a set of three keys on the keyboard to switch between three systems. It will be easy to link the third to the tablet. Switching between the three has generally been innocent.
Bluetooth connectivity failed once, but I had the same issue with every other Bluetooth keyboard, so I am not going to ding K860 for him. I think this is more Bluetooth’s fault. Otherwise, the connection is strong and the switching occurs immediately.
I have also lost the connection a few times to the keyboard from any device and decided by closing the power switch and flipping back again. This is a minor discomfort, but I worry that it has happened more than once.
Then, I am switching between equipment dozens of times per day, so it may not be a factor for you if you are not switching between equipment.
Battery
A good aspect of K860 is that it switchs back to a pair of AAA batteries from an underlying lithium-ion battery. And because there is no LED lighting or backlighting in this keyboard, Logitech does not guess the hours of its life, but in years. plural,
Loditech says that a pair of AAA batteries will last for two years in this keyboard. Even after using it full -time for more than a month, it still reads as ‘complete’ in the Loditech’s option application.
Logitech flow
As part of the productivity line of the loditech, you can also use it with the Loditech flow, which allows you to shift between two computers, even without pressing the connection button. This feature individually does not work for my needs, so I did not use it, but if you want it is there.

Logitech k860 review: My decision
Despite some serious complaints with K860, I really like it.
Build quality goes a long way. Despite the fact that this keyboard is away from my desk, it never Feel That way. It looks strong and solid. There is no hollow, no resonance.
After the adjustment period, I have adapted to the activation force. I would not say that I like it necessary on my previous mechanical keyboard. I wish this keyboard would be properly mechanical, but I am not sure if there is a way to do this with ergonomic keyboard.
Regardless, Logitech K860 is more comfortable to type for a long time, which was actually designed for it.
As a good bonus, the keyboard helps me correct my posture more often because I know which places on the board feel “wrong”. I am used to type in all types of poor currencies on a regular layout. And even better, my wrist remains straight and also remains basically while typing. This is the keyboard Definitely It is better for my hands than any mechanical keyboard.
For those who can achieve a large affixed point that can achieve scissors keys, the price is going to be. At $ 130, you are going to pay too much with many other ergonomic keyboards.
Microsoft, Kinesis, Kensington, Perixx, offer ergonomic keyboards with lower value tags. If you are connecting your keyboard to just one system, then they are worth watching before settling on it.
For my needs, Logitech’s K860 Ergonomic keyboard is found close to serving every master that I need to serve. It works with my Mac and my PC and feels good to use incredible battery life almost innocent during the day.
I will take some suspicious major options for all that. But I may need to find some aftermarket media keys. I can firmly recommend this keyboard.
