something to look forward to: AMD has confirmed that Strike Hello is coming on Apu Range Desktop. Launched in January, the Strike Hello Zen 5 CPU combines the RDNA 3.5 graphics. Mainly designed for laptops and handheld, some vendors have already started using EPUS in Custom Desktop.

Recently, during a Citdown, Asus general manager Tony U asked Lisa Su if AMD plans to bring its Strike Hello Apps to the desktop. The CEO of AMD enthusiastically replied, “Yes, of course!” He did not say what to expect from upcoming chips or pricing. However, they should be ideal for mini PCs due to their small footprint.

Strike Hello mobile apps are placed in the FP11 socket and are usually larger than the processor designed for the AM5 socket AMD that currently uses for its desktop CPU. Flagship Strike Hello Part Ryzen AI Max+ Pro is 395, with a 16-core Zen 5 CPU and a Radeon 8060s IGPU with 40 compute units. Framework recently announced that it would use the chip in its modular desktop PC retailing in $ 1,999.

During the interview, Su spoke in length about AMD’s new Radeon RX 9000 graphics card. She said that she has been a major success for the company, which sells 10 times more units than her predecessors during her first week in the market. He also confirmed that more RDNA 4 cards are coming, indicating that Radeon RX 9060 may soon be included in the lineup.

In the relevant news, a series of leaked slides revealed that AMD is also working on the successor of its Strix Point Mobile EPUS. Leikar, JNTECHREVIEW, has removed the post, but suggested that this new lineup – codenamed Gorgon Point – 2026 expects to debut with support for FP8 package similar to Strikes Point in 2026.

Gorgon Point Strix Point, an RDNA 3.5 IGPU, and offers the same Zen 5 and 5C CPU core as a XDNA 2 NPU. This will allegedly replace the Strike Point for high-end laptops, while the Hawk Point will be the mainstream product of AMD. Unfortunately, there is no mention of Zen 6 in leaked slides, despite rumors, it is suggested that the next-Jew CPU Corps may debut next year.
