Kate Moss reveals she waited 23 years for ‘closure’ from Johnny Depp
Kate Moss just opened up about the fact that she waited for a closure on her breakup with Johnny Depp for 23 years.
The supermodel and the Pirates of Caribbean star were in a high profile relationship for almost four years but didn’t work out as Depp started putting work over their bond.
Now, the comedian David Williams revealed that Moss and Depp had not seen each other since the breakup until both of them were guests at Stella McCartney’s 50th birthday bash in September 2021.
Speaking to Daily Mail, Williams recalled the chat he had with the runway beauty and revealed how she and the Alice In Wonderland actor “were talking for ages and ages and ages.”
“I spoke to Kate Moss and went, ‘What were you chatting about?’” he recalled.
“She goes, ‘Well, I haven’t seen him since we broke up. I finally got closure.’ I thought, ‘My goodness me,'” Williams confessed.
It is pertinent to mention that back when Depp and Moss were separating the award winning actor blamed himself as he “didn’t give her the attention” she deserved.
“I have never got that emotional over a woman before. I have been so stupid because we had so much going for our relationship,” Depp told HELLO! magazine at that time.
He continued, “I’m the one who has to take responsibility for what happened — I was difficult to get on with, I let my work get in the way, and I didn’t give her the attention I should have done.”
“The whole thing was crazy because I should never have got so worked up over what people had to say about my work. Sure, I should care about my movies, but when I get home I should try to leave that stuff behind. I couldn’t do that and I was horrific to live with. Trust me, I’m a total moron at times,” Johnny Depp concluded over his ending relationship with Kate Moss.
