In the second murder trial of Karen Reid, a full roster of gamblers and options has been chosen, a former financial advisor accused him of killing his Boston police lover John O’Kif in an intoxicated hit-and-run during an icy storm in January 2022.
All 12 gamblers and six optional people were cleared on Tuesday to open statements. The case needed only two more gamblers as 16 out of 16 out of 16 came close with 16.

“Come to me,” she said, when asked how she feels about the plan to present some of her own television interviews as evidence.

“I wouldn’t have said anything that I would not say again,” he said.
Both sides have filed a notice with the court that they intend to play some of their interviews while making a statement next week.
Reid told a gathering of reporters that she was happy with the elected gamblers, nine men and nine women, and believed that she was “truth and well interrogated” throughout the process.
She indicated that she may testify in her defense this time and is convinced in the second test.
A proposal hearing for Wednesday morning is scheduled and in memory of the victims of Boston Marathon bombing, the statements will be closed on Tuesday after a long break for Patriot Day.
At the time of his death, O’Kif was 46 years old. Reid was one of a group of people who found him in the front lawn of another officer around 6 am on January 29, 2022.
A group of people were drinking alcohol at Brian Albert’s house, which has since retired from Boston Police Department, night earlier.

The witnesses testified that O’Kif never made it inside the house, but Reid denied the allegations he had killed him.
He requested not to be guilty and argued that he might have been killed inside and then went to the yard, where he died of shock from head and hypothermia.

His first test ended with a jury last year, when the rescue indicated a clear struggle of problems involving problems with the investigation and the interests involving the leading investigator.

He is expected to return to the witness stand for another test.

If the top charge is convicted, life may be faced in jail. The test is expected to take six to eight weeks.
