    • Pakistan staged a strong protest with Afghan Charge D’Fyers.
    • Sardar Ahmed Shakib informed the terrorists about the use of Afghan soil.
    • Islamabad reminded Kabul to follow the provisions of Doha Agreement.

Islamabad: Amidst a recent bounce in terrorist attacks in the country, Pakistan has sought an explanation about the contact of terrorists involved in the Jaffar Express attack from Afghanistan, which with its handlers in later area, with their handlers, with their handlers in later area, with their handlers in later area, Reports Informed on Monday.

However, the Ministry of External Affairs has not issued any statement in this regard, sources have said that the Taliban’s Charge D’Fyers Sardar Ahmed Shekib was called to the foreign office to use a strong opposition and Afghan soil for the heinous attack.

The development came last week after the attack by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) militants who blew the train tracks and took over 440 passengers hostage in a day -long deadlock with security services at a remote mountain pass in Boln district.

The army said after cleaning the train and saving the hostages, it killed 33 attackers. Before the operation started, 26 passengers were martyred by the terrorists, while four security personnel were martyred during the operation.

The passengers of the martyred train included 18 security personnel of army and FC, Pakistan Railways and other departments and three officers of five civilians.

Talking to the media following the culmination of the operation of security forces, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), revealed that the terrorists were in touch with their handlers in Afghanistan.

The army spokesman said, “We have reliable intelligence that the networks that orkstrates these attacks are running from across the border in Afghanistan.”

He also revealed that among the people involved in the attack, was an important person who had previously served in the Afghan army and was now actively engaged in terrorist activities against Pakistan.

Lieutenant-Jen Chaudhary’s comment reflects the attitude of Islamabad, which has again urged Kabul to prevent his soil from being used by terrorist organizations against Pakistan-something that is recently supported by data of the Global Terrorism Index 2025 report.

The report highlighted not only terrorist incidents in Pakistan and the growth of Afghan Taliban’s return to power in Kabul, but it was also reported that Teriq-e-Taliban is an increased operational independence in Pakistan (TTP) and capitalization for the growth of safe havildar in neighboring country.

Meanwhile, during a conversation with Kabul’s envoy Sardar Shekib, the diplomat was reminded that the Taliban had given an international assurance that they would not allow the use of Afghan soil against Pakistan and the assurance was given in the Doha Agreement – signed between Afghan Taliban and the United States.

The Afghan CDA was told that the organization declared by the world body as a terrorist organization used Afghan soil for its heinous acts.

It is appropriate to mention that Islamabad does not recognize the government in Kabul, but has allowed the presence of the Taliban’s diplomatic representative in Pakistan as they control Kabul.

A strong resolution of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on the matter is a source of diplomatic satisfaction for Pakistan, as it mentions Bla and Majeed Brigade by the name of terrorism.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is one of the world leaders who condemned the incident.

With Pakistan expressing satisfaction over international reaction and widespread condemnation of the train, sources say that the government was considering thanking world leaders and countries expressing solidarity with the country and a list could be released in a few days.
