Lahore: Prior to the commencement of the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday announced a replacement made by Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi.
Peshawar Zalmi has signed South African all -rounder George Linde as a complete replacement for Corbin Bosch in the Diamond category for the upcoming tournament.
The all-rounder allegedly considering pursuing his PSL contract to join the Mumbai Indians squad for the Cash-Rich Indian Premier League (IPL).
Meanwhile, Islamabad United has brought Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Carrie as a partial replacement of Rasi Van Der Duson in the supplementary category.
In the online replacement draft held today, Peshawar Zalmi has reserved a replacement pick in the gold category for Nahid Rana.
Similarly, Karachi Kings have opted to reserve their picks for Litton Das, who were originally selected in the silver category.
Additionally, replacement pics for New Zealand pair Mark Chapman and Kane Williamson have also been reserved by Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings in platinum and complementary categories respectively.
The much awaited 10th edition of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) is scheduled to begin on Friday, April 11, with defending champion Islamabad United to two -time winner Lahore Kalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
There will be a total of 34 matches in the six-team tournament from 11 April to 18 May. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including two eliminators and grand finals.
In addition to the main tournament, an exhibition match has been scheduled in Peshawar on 8 April. The participating teams for this particular stability will be declared in the appointed time.
The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including the first qualifier on 13 May. Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will host five matches in each.
The event will also have three double-headers, two of which will be on Saturday and one on Labor Day (1 May).
