Indianapolis- If Isaiah Bond is correct, Xavier Worth’s record 40-yard dash time will last in NFL Scouting Combine for just one season, but will be with Texas.
Last year, Worth, a former longhorn, a 4.21-second was run 40 and was eventually the first round of the Cansus City heads. Bond, which was played in Texas last season in Texas after starting in Alabama, will run on Saturday.
“I am going to break the record tomorrow, of course,” Bond said on Friday. “I guess to run 4.20 or possibly, if I feel great, I can run 4.1.”
Bond said that his best time in training is 4.23, which is a leader for alliance.
“I am running my whole life,” Bond said. “I have been one of the fastest in my whole life, so I am going there, and greatness is achieved when the practice is achieved. So I am just going to trust my training and put it in a show.”
In a win against UTSA in the previous season, Bond was seen more than 22 mph. He finished 2024 season with 540 yards and 34 catches for five touchdowns. He is the number 10 wide receiver in the draft rankings of Mail Kipe Junior.
He cannot be the only receiver to break Worth’s record.
“If you blink the eyelid,” Oregon’s fast Johnson said, “You can just miss me.”
