In Yemen, Hauthis shot another US MQ -9 reaper drone, sources told Fox News.
This is the third drone that the rebels have shot since March 3 and the second shot is down as the US started operating daily attacks.
While the US is carrying out a daily air strike for 20 days, there have been some updates from the Trump administration on the operation situation. The Pentagon has not held a press briefing in the weeks, and the Defense Department has been quiet about the ongoing attacks.

On Tuesday, the Foreign Department announced restrictions on companies working as a part of a global illegal finance network supporting financial facilities, procurement operators, and houthis. ”
In the beginning of March, Houthis carried forward the sanctions by the State Department after the first shooting Raper, cited arms smuggling.

Later at the end of last month, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz spoke of an airstrike in an interview with CBS’s “Face the Nation”.
“These people are like al Qaeda or ISIS, with advanced cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and some of the most sophisticated aerial rescues that are all provided by Iran,” Waltz said. “Keeping C lane open, keeping trade and commerce open, is a fundamental aspect of our national security,” he said.

According to the Congress’s research service, the MQ-9 Reaper drone costs around $ 30 million. Since October 2023, Houthis has shot 13 American drones, when the Israel-Hamas war began, however, a source told Fox News that it could be more than 17 wraps.
The US Defense Officer told Fox News that by December 2024 there were 230 MQ -9 reaper drones in the US arsenal. These drones are mainly used to collect intelligence information, but according to the US Air Force, eight laser-directed Helphire may be equipped with missiles.
