Actor Ion Sky, known for his breakout role in the 1989 film “Sai Ather Ather”, is giving fans a look behind his glamorous but fierce Hollywood life in a new memoir, which was titled “Everything.”
In her memoir, the 54 -year -old actress reflects a trip when she was just 15 years old, when she acted with Keenu Reves in the “Riverj Age”, her will strengthen her position as a teenage statue in films before sharing the screen with Phoenix, Matthew Perry and John Cussack.
“When I look at the pictures, I almost can’t take how small I look,” Sky said.
Description of her relationship with memoir red Hot Chili Peppers Frontman Anthony Kidis, who began when she was 16 years old and was 24 years old.
“I liked the idea of this dangerous dark prince of a roller, a roller,” she writes, although her perspective has moved over time.
“It jerks me. And I also feel bad for myself,” Sky said. “I’m glad I knew Anthony Kidis and (Red Hot Chile Papers Basist) Pisu, but I want I met him ten years later and never dated him.”
Kidis struggled with heroin addiction during his relationship. Asked why she stopped, Sky said: “I thought I had to save her.”
The actress later married Adam Horovitz, the Beasty Boys, at the age of 21, a relationship that lasted seven years before the end of Sky’s cases. Especially the end of this relationship, Sky said, it is difficult to see back even after more than 25 years.
“I discovered to write this book, it was very clear that I am not good than sad. I am not good with loss,” he said. “I still find it painful. I can’t even hear a Beasty Boys song. It sounds like a death for me.”
He said that he feels that the pain comes not only by hurting a “sweet person”, but also hurts himself.
Most of Sky’s memoir shows how her relationships were shaped by the absence of her father, Scottish singer Donovan Leach, which she was left when she was born.
“Listening to their beautiful music was sometimes very painful because it is difficult for someone to see beautiful art and think, ‘Where is he for me?” He said.
A disturbing chapter in the book reveals when a leach lawyer sent a letter requesting a paternity test when Sky was already a successful actress.
“I can’t believe it,” he said.
Eventually, Sky decided against taking paternity tests. Sky says that she did not meet her father just before her 18th birthday.
“It was strange. I was really self-conscious of thinking that we are touching to hug for the first time,” he missed. “Sadly, I wanted more. Yes, I just, and I still do. I just wanted to see him again.”
Sky would be another revelation when she was pregnant and was divided with her fiancée, designer David Natto.
“I was in a shower, pregnant and splash because it was very stressful. And then I felt that my mother was probably pregnant with me in a shower in 1969,” she said. “It is a very straight double of a pattern.”
Now living in Australia with her husband, musician Ben Lee and her family, Sky says they share the same unique experience of early fame.
“Our career was really big when we were teenagers and both of us had to deal with the ups and downs to keep our career,” he said.
Five years ago, Sky took her family to meet her father and stepmother in Ireland, a visit she described as a treatment. He also found a relationship with his father through his role in the film “Raz Chakra”, with one of his songs.
Considering fulfilling his memoir, Sky called it “a task of self-esity”.
“I felt very proud. I felt as if I learned a lot about myself,” he said. “I felt that it is a bit of whipplash for a long time, but I live in a good place.”
