Short: Embedded World 2025 today wrests, and German media outlets captured clear images of Intel’s upcoming Panther Lake processor. He is the most detailed picture as Intel unveiled Panther Lake last year. Chips should be available for some time.
Intel’s upcoming Panther Lake CPU has re -revealed, this time in Embedded World 2025, where German media captured clear images of both sides. These new images come from courtesy of PC game hardware. This is not the first public appearance of Panther Lake – former Intel CEO Pat Gailinger had already shown on stage a few months ago. However, this is the best form ever.
Panther Lake Intel’s core Ultra 300 Series is the official codename for mobile processor. This current core Ultra 200 will succeed the “Lunar Lake” chips, when it will be offered as Intel’s leading CPU when it arrives at the end of this year.
Panther represents a significant development for Lake Intel’s processor lineup. The chip uses the new 18A process node of Intel, which should uplift a decent performance on the previous generations. CPU pairs “Cougar cove” performance core “Skymont” core with efficiency core that began in the Lunar Lake series.
However, Panther Lake’s integrated XE3 “Celestial” graphics processor is its real sale point. This is a big step from the XE2 “Battlemage” graphics found in the third-round XE GPU Lake, which promises up to 180 tops of 16 core and AI muscle. Celestial also marks a change in Intel’s production strategy.
While the CPU cores are fully manufactured on the 18A process of Intel, graphics comes from the advanced N3E node of Silicon TSMC. It is an unconventional hybrid model, but it possibly allows Intel to take advantage of the specialization of TSMC in leading GPU production.
There are some doubts about whether Intel may exclude Panther Lake from the door this year. The 18A process creates several changes in Intel’s transistor architecture, which began with the 20A process. These include ribbonfate gates-anound design and New Powervia backside power delivery. Intel has already faced a delay in Panther Lake Production, mainly due to challenges with 18A. However, analysts still expect Intel to announce a new generation for some time in mid -2012, which means these chips should hit the shelves in January 2026, just on time to CES 2026.
