Dubai: India’s middle order batter Shreyas Iyer has been named the ICC male player for March 2025, defeating Jacob Dafi and Rachin Ravindra of New Zealand for prestigious honors.
Iyer was the most run-scorer during the month, submitted 243 runs and played an important role in India’s winning ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign.
After Shubman Gill’s recognition in February, his victory gave the second consecutive player award for India.
Iyer played an important role in the order of India throughout the tournament, helping the team navigate the middle overs with their stroke play. His ability to anchor the innings and create important partnership was important in India’s successful run.

The 30 -year -old scored 172 runs out of 243 in three matches in March, with a strike rate of 77.47 several notable performances at an average of 57.33.
He scored 79 runs off 98 balls-four fours and two sixes. In a group-step victory against Nuazland, India helped India post a total of 250 competitive 250s on a difficult surface.
The batsman scored 45 runs in 62 delivery in the semi -final win over Australia, before taking the tournament out of the tournament with 62 balls in the final, once again against New Zealand, as India won the title.
