The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced the home chain of senior men in India for the upcoming 2025-26 season, which was scheduled to begin in October 2025.
“The weather season will begin with the IDFC First Bank Test series against the West Indies, which will begin on 2 October 2025 in Ahmedabad. The second and final test of the series will be held in Kolkata from 10 October.
The second test between South Africa and India will be played at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati as Assam will get to host its first international Test match.
“India will host South Africa for a recreational competition in all three formats. The IDFC First Bank Test series against South Africa will be historic as Guwahati is ready to host its first Test match. The series will start in New Delhi on November 14, in which Guwahati is hosting the second Test from November 22,” BCCI announced in a statement.
India will play four Tests, three one -day international and five T20I in the upcoming home session.
