Pakistan opener Imam-ul-Haq was forced to hurt the last one-day international against New Zealand after a jaws in a eccentric incident. The batsman was hurt while completing a run in the third over of Pakistan’s innings. The Imam was combating a quick single when a throw at the end of the non-strayer was secretly inside his helmet grill. Reports stated that the Imam was clearly amazed and struggled to stand continuously before helping from the field.
He was given extensive treatment on the ground itself. But soon it became clear that the batsman was unable to continue. He was taken out of the ground with Usman Khan, named as an alternative.
Pakistan lost the match by 43 runs at Mount Maunaganui, thus lost the ODI series by a margin of 0-3. He also lost the T20I series in New Zealand with a margin of 4–1.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has not shared a lot of details about the opener after that injury.
So far, the PCB media handle has shared only: “Usman Khan has been named the Constion Option for Imam-ul-Haq, who was hurt after the ball hit the jaw.”

After the Imam’s injury, Pakistan’s team Talisman Babar Azam scored half a century of 58 balls. Babur was Pakistan’s top scorer in the evening, as he was reduced by the target of 43 runs of New Zealand’s 265 runs.
Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan later said, “Obviously it was a disappointing series for us.” “But if you look at positivity, Babar Azam is in a very good touch. Seeing the bowling, Sufiyan Mukim was a man.”
