The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated that he had killed a top Hamas leader who blames terrorists with weapons, who were with weapons used to attack Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers.
The IDF said on Tuesday that Muhammad al-Ojla, commander of Hamas’s Shejaiya Battalion, was taken to a “precise strike” on Sunday.
The Shejaiya Battalion is a military unit within the armed wing of Hamas that is mainly operated in the Shajaiya neighborhood of Gaza city, historically a fabric for Hamas and is the focal point of intense fighting during Israeli military campaigns.

The IDF stated that Al-Yajalah is the fifth commander of the Shejaiya Battalion, who has been abolished since the beginning of the war and the third since the onset of renewed operations in Gaza, the IDF said.
The IDF said in a statement at the IDF on Tuesday, “Muhammad al-Ozla served as the commander of a Combat Support Company in the Shejai Battalion during the war and ended in an exact strike on Sunday night.”
“Prior to the strike, several steps were taken to reduce the risk of damage to citizens, including issuing advanced warnings to civilians, accurate sages and air monitoring.”

According to IDF and reports, Shejaiya Battalion is known to use the urban guerrilla warfare, tunnels, IEDs and rockets, launched as part of its operation.
In October, Hamas Terror chief Yahya Sinwar was killed during an Israeli military campaign in Gaza Patti, in which the chilling video was capturing his final moments.
According to the IDF, Hamas’s top military commander, Mohammad Def, was killed during the strike in July 2024. DIF planned, planned and carried out terrorist attacks on 7 October with Sinavar on 7 October.
Al-Yajla’s assassination on Sunday comes between the resumption of the war after a two-month ceasefire on 18 March.
