Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday issued a vote of thanks to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for successfully hosting the men’s Champions Trophy 2025, concluded on Sunday.
The prestigious tournament, which marked its return after 2017, was the first ICC tournament organized by Pakistan since 1996.
The eight-team tournaments, including 15 matches, played at three places from February 19 to March 9-in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi-Pakistan, while the final champions India played all their matches in Dubai.

“As it was the first global multi-team cricket event to be played in the country since 1996, the incident was very important for PCB, and all people involved in renovation of stadiums, preparing the surfaces of sports, distributing matches and hosting teams and visitors should be very proud of their efforts.”
“ICC would like to thank the Emirates Cricket Board for staging five of the five matches in Dubai and will continue to provide great support to the ICC in staging its leading men and women’s programs.”
