Australian batsman Travis Head is a fork in the flesh of the Indian side. Speaking on his relationship with fans talking to CNN18, he said, “I take it. Play it myself,”
He said, “I have been kept in position against India many times in the last 18 months and are capable of playing well, but on the same note, he has played some time against us. So I definitely have a relationship with fans,” he said.
However, things are not quite smooth sailing for the head. He told AAP in December last year: “I lost my (national) contract and then I went to Sussex and cooled it there too. I tried to bat in the way I was batting and not working.”
Then playing Kent in Canterbury, the innings of the match proved a turn in the head’s career. “Then in my last game in Sussex, I got 46 runs in the second innings and I thought, ‘F **’s, I am just going to chant the slogan’ and I did well, so I thought, ‘Why don’t I just do it?” AAP told him.
