A senior Hamas official told the AFP on Wednesday that the group is still preparing its response to an Israeli proposal for a ceasefire and hostage release deal in Gaza.
Mahmud Mardavi said, “The movement’s response is still in preparation, and we confirm that there is no place for any partial deal.”

United Nations Chief K. Associate Spokesman Stephanie Tramble says “our human partners” estimates that around 500,000 people in Gaza have “newly displaced or uprooted once again” because Israel broke the Gaza ceasefire on March 18, cited a statement by Arab media.
“It is repeatedly displaced by hundreds of thousands of people before the ceasefire,” he told reporters.
