Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola confirmed that Erling Hayalland could be with an ankle injury for seven weeks, which he had raised against Bornmouth in his FA Cup quarterfinals.
The 24-year-old injured his left ankle in the city’s 2–1 victory, creating a protective boot by the Vitality Stadium. He will see a specialist this week.
Norway International scored the city equal before leaving in the 60th minute. His replacement, Umar Marmoshush, scored a Go-forward goal to pursue the city in the FA Cup semi-finals, where he will face Nottingham Forest on 26 April.
City Hopful Handand will be able to feature in the FIFA Club World Cup, which is closed in June. But Guardiola said that he would remember the last few weeks of the Premier League season.
Guardiola said on Tuesday, “He told me the doctors between five and seven weeks. So it is expected that the end of the season and the club will be ready till the World Cup.” “Sometimes there are years when such things happen. It all happened in the season.
“I would say that it could be different if it was the end of the season (before the Club World Cup). So with all the injuries we have this season, I am very sorry for them as well as for Erling. So (I wish him) a good recovery, a good recovery, as fast as possible, then come back.”
This season, the handland, which scored 30 goals in 40 matches this season, has been dropped from the city’s Match Vs. Leester City at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday and is a visit to Old Trafford for Manchester Derby on Sunday.

The city is set to fly at its base camp in Florida before the Club World Cup on 12 June.
His first game is against Morocco on 18 June against the AC in Philadelphia.
A statement issued by the city on Holland’s injury on Monday evening stated: “On Monday morning, an expert will seek a specialist counseling to undergo initial tests in Manchester and now confirm the entire range of injury.
“Evaluation continues to detect a complete disease. Hopefully, the remaining part of this season will fit on time to play another role, including the FIFA Club World Cup of this summer.”
