The Greenland government in a statement on Friday called President Donald Trump’s comments about taking the country under the control of “unacceptable” country.
Officials said the statement was inspired on Thursday with NATO general secretary from Trump’s meeting, when he allegedly “reiterated his desire for Greenland’s attachment and control.”
In response, the leaders of all political parties elected the Entisaritut, Greenland’s Parliament, including Democratit, Nalerek, Inute Atakatigit, Simut and Atasut parties, issued a statement on X.

“We – all party leaders – cannot accept repeated statements about Greenland’s attachment and control,” the leaders wrote. “We find this behavior unacceptable towards friends and colleagues in a Raksha coalition.”
He said that he should “underline that Greenland will continue to serve his people through diplomatic relations according to international law.”

He said, “We all support this wholeheartedly and make ourselves away from efforts to make a disorder. Greenland comes under Greenlandic people, and we stand together (as a leader),” he wrote.
