Google’s new AI mode for search may soon get an update to make users easier to navigate after query input.
Gemini 2.0-Inumed AI-Sarch function is an elevated search experience, providing a mixture of relevant AI overview and relevant search links. Currently, Google has provided AI mode to its Google AI AI premium customers as preview. However, the brand may soon expand availability for free users, while it may be easy to reset the AI mode conversation and remain on the same page.
Recently, the Android Authority shared the details from an APK Phappa, which reveals a possible new feature that may come in Google’s AI mode. The function is a shortcut that will allow you to refresh your conversation without navigating away from the AI mode page.
Currently, some steps are required to reach AI mode through Google Search. You can choose the feature through AI mode shortcut on the home screen on the Google app. Alternatively, you can change your desktop Google search results by enabling AI mode filter. After an initial query, you can ask follow -up questions on the same subject. However, if you want to start a new theme, you have to navigate back to the app or desktop homepage and then go back to AI mode once again to get a new interaction.
Shortcut Google is testing in its app beta release (version 16.11.32.sa.arm64), can deny the need to go back and forth between primary Google search and AI mode apps to refresh interactions. The result is the icon on the top left of the page, a paper and pencil -shaped. When selected, it will refresh the page without leaving AI mode.
This feature is only seen within Google’s app beta release and has not yet been made in the public version of AI mode. However, this feature may be available in future updates.
Meanwhile, Google AI AI premium subscribers are enjoying early access to AI mode, some users who have joined the Waitlist with a free Google account, now getting a notice that they have achieved access to the facility, according to 9to5google.
These users will now be able to see the AI mode filter on the Google App Home Screen or Google Search Result Page.
