Last week, reports suggested that Cognizant delayed its increment by August. Reacting to this, the IT company said that the company has not delayed the increment this year and it would roll out wage hike in the month of August as was done last year.
“As part of this ongoing commitment, the merit for eligible colleagues increases, exactly one year after the previous cycle in August. In fact, with the August 2025 cycle, most of our colleagues would have received five merit growth within the last four years. There is no delay in the merit cycle, and vice versa is wrong, “a cognitive spokesperson said last week.
It said that the company will pay bonuses to eligible colleagues in the middle of March, ensuring that their talented teams are consistently recognized for their contribution.
“We remain stable in our commitment to recognize the hard work and dedication of our colleagues through merit growth and bonus,” he said.
