From Gerry Turner The Golden Bachelor Fans are updated on treating their cancer.
Turner, who revealed his bone marrow cancer diagnosis in December, appeared in Tuesday’s episode Bachelor Happy Hour Podcast, where he discussed his position with hosts who Amabile and Serena Pitt.
“I feel very good,” he said. “As long as I have no symptoms, there is no cure. So I often go for blood tests. I, like, a six -month schedule now, and I feel optimistic because the doctor said, ‘Well, when you are 75 years old, we will grow three months.’ So it is telling me that at least he expects me to live for one and two years to get it.
Turner said that he was looking at the diagnosis as an opportunity for “as you are dying” and never shy away from saying “yes” that whatever he offers.
“The person I am dating with will say, ‘Do you want to do-‘ and before he gets out of the rest of the sentence, I will say yes. So I am in everything,” he continued.
“And it makes life exciting because you feel a way behind your head that you have found a lot to do this, and you don’t know how long you have to do it, so do nothing. And, so, in a way, it’s really a good thing.”

The Golden Bachelor Alum revealed in an interview in December People Three years ago, after suffering from a pickle injury, he came to know about cancer.
He said, “Finally I (for the doctor) got all around and the Orthopedic Surgeon said,” Yes, we cannot do much for our shoulders, but there are some unusual blood markers here, “he said at that time. “And so an orthopedic surgeon went to my family doctor, my family doctor sent me to an oncologist, and now I am working with a Hematology-Ouncology group in Fort Wane.”
He said: “Unfortunately, there is no cure for it. So every decision I have has heavy weight.”
According to the Mayo Clinic, the position of the turner was formally known as the macoglobulinmia of Waldenstrom, when white blood cells turn into cancer cells. It is also considered a type of non-Hodkin lymphoma.
Although the Turner was originally told that he had “blood disorder”, he explained that he knew “too much” that it would cause cancer.
