The girl’s mother, Kaila Nicx-Shock turned straight to her mother while talking about her ongoing trauma while losing her two children.
According to Fox 13 Tampa, Nix-Socol said in tears, “I still love you. I hate it.” “I hate that I have to choose, but you know I had to do. But it doesn’t change my heart.”

Baby Uril’s father Drew Shock spoke about additional steps, which he and Kaila Nickes took to protect Uryl after Ezra’s death.
“There are some things that you don’t think about and, as a parents, we have to live with him for the rest of our life,” Shock said. Shock said, “He has done this twice and with the fact that we are arguing if that jail time is crazy for me.”
Nix, who refused to testify in his own defense, said during the sentence that he did not realize that the baby was in the car.
“I really forgot longer,” said Nix. “I broke about what happened. I do not want to leave anyone with the idea that I am making excuses, because I am not.”
Nicks, who worked as a principal and teacher in the Hardy County for nearly 40 years, was previously described as “highly considered”, and demanded mental health treatment after his arrest.

In the case, the judge sentenced the maximum sentence and said that he had not shown any regrets.
Judge Brandon Rafool โโsaid, “Uril is not a separate incident. I don’t believe she is showing regrets; I believe she is showing grief.”
