Former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria on Monday attacked former-Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi, criticized his “extremist” views and called the Indian media outlets to prevent offer from offering a platform.
Following Kaneria’s comment, Afridi once again made controversial statements, blaming India for a recent terrorist attack in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir, where at least 26 people – most of the tourists – lost their lives.

Reacting rapidly to Afridi’s allegations against India and its army, Kaneria wrote, “They have constantly tied up with extremist ideas. In my opinion, they should not be given a platform on Indian television or within the country. He further alleged that India, keeping in mind the terrorist attacks on its soil to malnut Pakistan, said, “India has committed terrorism itself, kills its own people, and then blames Pakistan.”
Afridi also criticized the Indian media, accusing them of sensational and compared to his coverage for “Bollywood storytelling” after Pahalgam tragedy.
