A Florida police officer is recovering after an illegal immigrant in his patrol car last week.
Belle Isle police officer Jacob Tapia was injured on April 3, when Paula Hernandez Lajaro crashed into his patrol vehicle after failing in the produce while making a left turn. Lazaro, who was driving without a license, hit Tapia’s car so hard that he got off the road and hit a tree and a fence.
The officer was treated at Orlando Regional Medical Center for Minor Injury and was released on the same day.
The department said, “He is expecting to recover completely and to ensure that there is no problem.”

The department said that this was the second time Lajaro was quoted for driving unlicensed.
In further investigation, the Belle Isle police discovered that Lajaro was illegally in the United States. He was arrested without operating a vehicle without a valid license and without unauthorized entry in Florida.
Belle Isle Police Head Travis Grims told Fox 35 Orlando that Florida highway is handling the petrol investigation.

Lajaro’s citizenship status was observed when he handed over a Mexican passport to a state soldier without a stamp to enter the US, she has been living in Florida for almost 11 years and illegally entered the country through Texas.
The Grim said that the Florida Highway Patrol Trupers had to undergo necessary training to handle and arrest illegal migrants.
“FHP has already gone through training with ice,” Grim said. “I don’t want to talk on their behalf, but they have already received withdrawal and latitude to be able to use those officers.”
